Where will the news come from?

There are three main sources for news at events like Aero

• Walking the halls and talking to exhibitors
• Snippets picked up from fellow journos, friends and industry contacts
  
• Press conferences

Press conferences at exhibitions present an opportunity for manufacturers to talk to a large number of journos in a short space of time. The news and information is 'managed', and although there's usually an opportunity to ask questions, the points raised by the assembled journos are rarely incisive.
